Oral health does affect systemic health and immunity in many ways. If oral hygiene is poor then it leads to formation of plaque and calculus which leads to gum disease. These bacteria can travel through your blood stream and cause other systemic diseases. Poor oral hygiene can also lead to fungal infection in mouth known as candidiasis.
Hence its very important to maintain good oral hygiene.

There are various differential diagnosis for white patch on tongue and candidiasis is one of them.
Biopsy is required for accurate diagnosis. Leukoplakia, lichen planus, oral cancer they all initiate as white patch.

There are some normal marks in our mouth which appear are physiological and appear normal such as linea XXXXXXX which occurs on the inside of cheek near second and third molar. But if its completely white lesion and was not there before, it should be discussed with your dentist. It will need biopsy for exact diagnosis.

Mostly oral thrust is scrappable and can be cured with maintaining good oral hygiene and antifungal medication. Please check does it come with tongue cleaner otherwise send me pictures. If it’s been for more than 3 weeks and no scrapping off then I would suggest you to see an oral surgeon for biopsy.

As per the picture, it’s completely normal and need good oral hygiene measures. You can use tongue cleaner to clean it every night aftrr brushing. Also, use chlorhexidine mouthwash 0.2% 10 ml for 2 min once a day half an hour after brushing.
