Question: excrutiating pain in scrotum that doesn't go away. ER doc did ultra sound and said it was not a tortion, not STD after tests this has been going on for 3 days. any thoughts would be appreciated.

Based on the facts that you have posted the pain in scrotum that you have could be due to infection of Epididymis (Epididymitis)

Consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.

Start taking antibiotics like Cefixime and Nitrofurantoin along with anti inflammatory drug like Chymoral Forte twice daily for a week .It will work for you .

Ensure to drink more water .
