F March I Came Down With A Sore Throat ,
Question: f March I came down with a sore throat, and was full of green mucus. I got given 10 dah course of amoxicillin which aliminated the mucus.
However I still carried on having the sore throat, blocked ear,dizziness, swollen glands or painful glands. I paid to see a private doctor last Saturday he did blood tests for flandulafever and thyroid issues and said I deffo have allergies and invertigo of the ears slightly which is now died down a little but my ear still feels blocked i am . Still waiting for the results not a problem. But currently since then, my throat on The outside in the mornings is very tender to touch, and this morning my armpit hurts and I feel very achey and I can taste blood in the back of my throat and I have little bits of blood when I blow my nose. Please help,, I am using a steroids nasal spray and the sinus wash .
I’ve woke up and the outside of my throat is tender to touch, my ears hurt I’m exhausted and drained and under my armpits hurt. Please help

I read your query and here is my advice.
I think you should do a total blood count with formula, throat culture and secretions culture and also you should do monospot because it can be mononucleosis.
You can upload the results of the tests for me and I can give you an opinion.
You have probably used too much of nasal decongestants and corticosteroids spry and may have damaged nasal mucosal lining and it is bleeding.

I can’t do anything currently, due to covid can’t get any appointments. I know I have allergies and I have been controlling them but why would I wake up today and feel like I’ve been punched in the throat. It is so painful to touch

You can take acetaminophen or better Tylenol and also you may take citerizine to help a bit with congestion.
I believe it can be mononucleosis.
Continue rinsing nose and throat with saline water.
