Brief Answer:
Exact time cannot be predicted

Detailed Answer:
Hi
As per your description,it looks like you have Fissure and Haemorrhoids.
You should take plenty of liquids, eat high fiber diet.
Carbonated drinks, Spicy foods ,Nonvegetarian foods should be avoided.
I prescribe ointment containing DILTIAZEM for Anal fissure.Response is good with this.
If Haemorrhoids are of Grade 3 or 4, Surgery should be done.Grade1&2 will respond to Medicines
Please consult a Surgical Gastroenterologist or General Surgeon and proceed further.
No one can predict the time of complete cure with Medical management.
Nothing to worry.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions,I will clarify further.
Wish you good health and speedy recovery

Thanks for the response- I have a follow up in three weeks time. I have also been scheduled for a colonoscopy in January for suspected IBS. I have frequent episodes of very bad gas and feelings of incomplete evacuation. Could the IBS and rectal issues be related. Should I be concerned that my colonoscopy can not be done until January? I have no blood in stool, weight loss... Just lots of gas and feeling like my bowel movements are not done. Is this typical with IBS?

Brief Answer:
You can wait till January

Detailed Answer:
Hi
You can wait till January for Colonoscopy. It will diagnose Haemorrhoids and Fissure also.
Excess gas is linked to the food you take.IBS can cause Constipation or Diarrhoea.
Please be relaxed.
Take high fiber diet and drink plenty of liquids. Most of the symptoms will subside.
Nothing to worry.
Hope I answered your question.
