Hi there

Thanks for the query

Chronic finger pain could be due to old trauma and arthritis as a result. Even Gout can cause the same..

I suggest getting an xray and full blood count with CRP as a start.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.

Hi there

Since the MRI shows tendinosis, it should resolve with rest. Wear a wrist splint and a finger extension splint if the finger is painful.

Avoid lifting weights till it heals. Your blood tests show no infection or Rheumatoid arthritis. Take Tablet Ibuprofen 400mg twice a day for 5 days after meals.

There is possibility of Gout in which Uric acid may be elevated. Try to get tested.

I hope I have answered your query.

This indicates that the swelling of the mentioned joints is due to sprain of the ligaments that support the joints and not due to arthritis.

Splint the joints for a week and avoid stressing them with any sort of weight lifting or allowing painful range of movement.

After a week the response can be noted and followed up.
