Question: for several days both my my girlfriend and I (living together) have similar symptoms. Nasal drip, fairly frequent blowing of nose, resulting in lung congestion and for me, frequent coughing (day & night) with phlegm or dry.

Hii. You are having allergic rhinitis and pharyngitis. You both are having some viral respiratory infection. Please both of you consult an Ent surgeon. You start nasoclear nose drop, fluticasone nasal spray, steam inhalation, anti allergic tablet levocetrizine. Start taking betadine gargle. Avoid exposure to cold, dust. Please take more orally specially liquids. You can do a x ray paranasal sinus and sent a throat swab for culture and sensitivity.
