It would have been better if you specified your age? If you have any more symptoms? Do you have any past medical conditions including diabetes, high blood pressure, allergies, lung condition - Bronchial asthma / COPD. And if you have history of travel outside country / have history of exposure to anyone sick?

Itching and coughing could be related if you are suffering with an allergic condition. However without a thorough medical history and without an opportunity to examine, I am unable to arrive at a conclusion. Possibility of infection is less likely though.

Considering, the pandemic infection around us, I will strongly recommend you remain under isolation for now (since you have cough). Watch for the progress of symptoms. You should report to the doctor if symptoms worsen.

In the meanwhile, you can start benadryl cough syrup - three times a day and tab Montair LC twice daily. Drink plenty of fluids. Cover your mouth while coughing. Avoid touching and hand shakes with others. Wash hands / use sanitizer frequently
