Question: had turp procedure april 2019 very large prostate bleeding was for a month .. occasional up to six months revisit doc says some residual tissue down the road should revisit recently showed some blood in urine after bowel movement and after a night of moving several chairs and tables .. urine flow is still good and emptying bladder .. I take buspar and norvasc also a baby aspirin ..

Thanks for query .

Based on the facts that you ave posted you had undergone TURP in April 2019 for large enlarged prostate and had bleeding for almost 6 months after surgery .

Now you have episode of bleeding after heavy work .The bleeding that you have is mostly from the residual prostate in addition to side effect of Aspirin .

In a given situation I would advise you to get Ultrasound Scanning of abdomen and pelvis done to assess the size of prostate and discuss with your Urologist about need for redoing surgery to resect the residual prostate .

In the mean time start taking antibiotic like Cefixime twice daily and Dutasteride once daily.

You can withheld taking Aspirin for couple of days .

Ensure to drink more water to prevent clot retention .
