Brief Answer:
Pseudofolliculitis barbae

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

Pseudofolliculitis barbae is a condition wherein after the shave as the new hair grows curly hair tends to curl into the skin instead of straight out the follicle, leading to an inflammation reaction.

This is very common and the definite solution appears to be not to shave.

You can apply Clindac gel in the morning and Retin A ointment in the night. This may no completely cure the condition but will prevent lesions after every shave.

Hope, I answered your query.

Wish you good health.

Regards,
