Your symptoms seem to be related to Mirena removal.
It may take some months for the menstrual cycle to return to normality.

so even though my periods after the IUD removal in august were normal, the IUD hormone could still be causing issues ? I had an IUD for 10 years
Brief Answer:
Follow up query explained below.
Detailed Answer:
Hi again dear,
Usually the periods may take three months after the removal of Mirena to go back to normal.
Rarely, it may take longer.
But as I mentioned above the symptoms may also be related to perimenopause based on your age.
In this case the symptoms are physiological and there is nothing to be worried.
Hope it helps dear.
Take care,

Hello ... I haven't started yet. But I contacted my GYN and she said that if I haven't started by the 13th to call her as she is going to do an ultrasound.
See, I had cysts with the IUD's.
could cysts be causing this ? even though the IUD is out ?
thanks!
