Question: hello I want to ask what is the connection between breastfeeding and childhood cancer
Like if I couldn’t breastfeed my child does he has a higher chance of getting Childhood cancer ?

Thanks for writing to us.
There are numerous studies done throughout the world which suggest that incidence of childhood cancers especially leukemia is at least one fifth less in breastfed kids.
It is always better to breastfeed.
Even if not possible directly try expressing milk with pump.
Other option is to try breast milk banks in your city.

I breastfed for very less period so now I’m tensed what can I do now to prevent it .my boys are grown up now
