Hello Doc. My Hematocrit Is Slightly Low And Rbc Is
Question: hello doc. my hematocrit is slightly low and rbc is slight high. what could be the reason. is it anemia. how to increase hemocrit level. i am taking zimcifer tabs.
Brief Answer:
Not anemia
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
This is not really anemia as hemoglobin is 14. Even though hematocrit is slightly low, as hemoglobin and hematocrit look at the same thing, I would not worry too much with this report.
I also don't see any need for iron supplements like zemcifer.
You can monitor your blood count again in 2-3 months time.
Hope this helps.
Regards

so no need to worry about this ? why i feel tired , and facing hairloss?
Brief Answer:
No need to worry
Detailed Answer:
Tiredness and hair loss cannot be explained by hemoglobin of 14, irrespective of hematocrit or RBC count. Other conditions like stress, less sleep, thyroid disorders or male pattern baldness to be considered.
Overall, this report has got nothing worrisome.
