Hello Doctor! I Am Writing Because Of An Problem .
Question: hello doctor! I am writing because of an problem . These days my children and I as well has been sick with influence. I thought that I passed all but from 3 days in the afternoons I have a body fever of 37 centigrade and a lot of fatigue. Sometimes the fever goes down by itself and sometimes I have to take paracetamol because of my headache. I saw my throat and it is a litle red and have one yellow patch. The yellow patches usually are created from food stuck but I made days before the tampon and once It showed presence of staphyloccoccus areus and repeted after two days was clear. I dont know what to do now if I should take abtibiotic or it is just a normal viros. 3 weeks before I made the pcr and it resulted 8 from 5. Do you think I should repeat this test again? Thank you!
I have a also a lot of yellow secretions and a blocked nose.
Sorry to write again, It seems sometimes like I have earpain.

I take this opportunity to answer your question after having addressed the problem earlier. As I understand the last infective episode has resolved and now symptoms of fever and throat redness has resurfaced. The current episode is more likely from a viral infection unless you also have a very bad throat pain / difficulty and pain while swallowing.
Since the symptoms are mild and the fever is low grade, I wouldn't order to retest PCR / swab tests. The current episodes should resolve over the due course of time. You might need gargling with antispetic gargling lotions like betadine and steam inhalation. Take paracetamol tablets and an antithistamine like cetrizine for fever and nasal congestion.
