Question: hello doctor, attached is my previous medication which I have stopped few months back. currently I m taking rejunex and vitamin d3 supplement along with my daily dose of thyroxin 62.5.

my complaint is same before all these medication. i feel tired almost all day. quality of sleep also not so good. i am unable to do anything beyond d my regular routine at home. i got married at 42 and gave birth to my son at the age of 45. currently i m 49. but i was not like this before. i was v energetic and used to accomplish lots of work and have fun as well. now i feel very low, sad. before marriage i was working and afterwards not so that also has affected me.

my periods are still regular but flow is less. othervthan thyroid, i dont have any other illness. i learnt yoga before pregnancy but after my child's birth, not getting any time for fitness activities. i m planning to go to gym once my energy level increases. i got my blood profile b12 and d3 checked. all seems proper.

can u please advise further ? thanks.

Brief Answer:
Generalised weakness

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query,
As you are a known case of hypothyroidism and i believe thatyour thyroid levels are well in control considering that you are already on 62.5mcg thyroxine. Also your vit b12 and d3 levels have been built up over last few months. The possible reason for lethargy would be decreased daily water intake which can cause multiple issues in terms of lethargy, weakness , listlessness and mood swings.
Another most common reason in women for weakness is possible vaginal infection and secondary urinary tract infection.
You need to rule out vaginal discharge and also UTI by. getting your per speculum examination and urine routine microscopy done.
