For dandruff I suggest you to use a ketoconazole based shampoo e.g Nizoral shampoo or selenium sulphide based shampoo. Use it daily or on alternate days. Lather it well on to wet scalp and allow it to act for 5 - 7 minutes before rinsing it off.
