Hello Hoping Someone Can Help Me Out About A Week

Earache could be either due to TMJ disorder or outer ear infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for posting the query
I have gone through your query and understand your problem. Intermittent earache could be due to various reasons. The commonest being the Eustachian tube (the tube connecting nose and the ear) block. The other causes include Temporo-mandibular joint (TMJ) disorder, cervical spine related issues, etc.
According to your history, it seems to be more of a TMJ related issue. But, a thorough examination of the ear, throat, nose and the neck spine can help in arriving at a diagnosis.
At present you can take the following measures and medications:
1. Try to chew equally on both the sides.
2. Eat soft food only for a week.
3. You can use hot fomentation to relieve the inflammation and the pain.
4. Try taking good anti-inflammatory medicine such as Ibuprofen or Diclofenac.
If the pain persists even after the above measures, then, you should consult a good ENT Specialist.
Hope this answers your query; I will be available for the follow up queries.
