Brief Answer:
Diltiazem may cause such side effects

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir/Ma'am

I can certainly understand your concern.

I have worked through your attached query in detail.

Symptoms in you are medically termed as "palpitations".

Diltiazem has a high propensity to cause such symptoms as it's side effects. May require dose reduction or drug substitution if symptoms worsen.

These symptoms cannot be considered as normal and they warrant further evaluation through a baseline ECG and 24 hour HOLTER ambulatory ECG monitoring.

Further management if any is largely based on test reports.

Please check with your physician if he/she shares my view and if can offer you the HOLTER ambulatory ECG monitoring at the earliest.

Post your further questions if any.
Thank you
