Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
Your ultrasound scan report says you have hepatic steatosis.
Hepatic steatosis means there is fat deposition in the liver.
Some of the common causes include obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol and alcohol intake.
Fatty liver could be simple fatty liver or it can be fatty liver with inflammation.Liver panel may be done to see if the liver enzymes are raised . Raised liver enzymes indicate it is inflamed.
Treating the risk factor would resolve the issue.
If you are obese, reduce weight and try to keep your BMI at below 25.
Check blood glucose and cholesterol levels and treat if they are high.
If you have the habit of drinking alcohol, you need to abstain from it.
