Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to"Ask a Doctor" service.
I am Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX

I have gone through your query and here is my opinion.

If you are doing work outs for last two years and you are not getting results, you should change the pattern of your workouts.
When your body gets used to the same movements,it no longer has to adapt to keep up.
As the body adapts, there are no challenges and thus no results.
Focus on special muscle groups and target them one by one.
If you feel burnt out after getting much out of some of those workouts, take a break so that the body can recovery properly and have enough energy to come back to the workout schedule with full force.
Keep yourself well hydrated and don't be sleep deprived.

You should increase your dietary protein intake.
Dietary sources of protein include both animals and plants like meats, dairy products, broccoli fish and eggs, grains, legumes ,nuts, tofu etc
High amounts of protein is required to get the muscle repaired and for it's compensatory hypertrophy.

Commercially available Whey protein is largely safe in moderate amounts.
High doses of it can cause side effects such as increased bowel movements, diarrhea, vomitings, nausea, increased thirst, bloating sensation, flatulence, muscle cramps, stomach fullness and reduced appetite, fatigue and headache etc.

You can take Whey protein which is safe and it can help you to build muscle mass and strength, lose weight, decrease your appetite ,increase your metabolic rate and make you lean.

If consumed in large amounts, protein powder may harm your kidneys.
The breakdown of proteins release ammonia which is mainly excreted by the kidneys.
Excess protein load challenges and overburdens kidneys thus compromising their function.

You are unlikely to have any rebound effects of stopping protein powder.
This might just degrade some of your muscles.

Hope that I have answered your query.

Stay healthy and stay blessed.
Regards.
