Question: hello, let me start by saying my name is XXXXXXX I am a 30 year old male. I have been experiencing a bit of chest discomfort in different areas from left to right. It’s been going on for a few months now. sometimes I will get a sharp pain but most of the time it doesn’t hurt it’s more of an annoyance. With that I’ve been having a hard time focusing my eyes. It’s not blurry but slightly scrambled if that makes sense. It’s gotten to the point I’m getting worried since it has not gotten better in such a long time frame.
I have pretty bad pollen allergies, I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Brief Answer:
Having chest pain can be cause by many problems

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question XXXXXXX Hope I can be of help for you today.

Through reading your query I would like to help you with this question.
Chest discomfort in different areas from left to right side with sharp pain can be caused by lots of other problems than heart including muscle soreness after an activity that involves the chest muscles, arthritis, injury, lung or infection around the heart Etc. What is your job? What is the onset of pain? What is the duration of pain? You are still young and the characteristic of pain like sharp pain with different sides and suffering you a few months now, if you do not have any other association symptoms such as fever, shortness of breath or feeling fainting, nausea or vomiting, palpitation. I would recommend you to tell me more about the history of pain and in the meantime you can trial to rest from working hard if you do and apply topical pain killer. Go to see a doctor if you have chest pain associated with shortness of breast, fever, palpitation, feeling fainting, get worse when you walk or climb stairs, sweating or cold. Your doctor may do an electrocardiogram (ECG) to rule out heart problems.

I hope that can help you, and please let me know if you have any clarification or question about that, and I would be welcome to discuss it with you further. I Hope you have good health.

thank you for reaching out to me. As for your first question, I work a hard labor job as a machine operator for a printing company. It has crossed my mind that this could be a cause, not only are we constantly lifting material, but there are lots of solvents I work with as well, solvents such as Tetrahydrofuran, and Dioxolane. Ive been in that field of work for about 7 years. the pain constantly just comes and goes at this moment while im typing its no longer there. I do get it while im both at work and home.. it could last a couple minutes to, a couple hours. but its very dull with random sharp pains that do not occur to often. Thank you for assisting me.
