Brief Answer:
He should have a transrectal ultrasound

Detailed Answer:
Hi Edliravarfi,

If blood for the PSA analysis was drawn after he was catheterized, it can be falsely elevated, because the catheter has irritated his prostate. It sounds like benign prostate hyperplasia, especially if the ultrasound did not show any localized tumors. Treatment usually consists of drugs to lower urinary tract tension (tamsulosine, alfuzosin, etc.) or a transurethral resection of the prostate if drugs are not enough.
