Hi,
Thank you for the query. I can understand your concern. According to the investigation reports that are provided here, you have been suffering from mild chronic gastritis and reactive gastropathy. You had a history of gallbladder removal.
When your stomach lining becomes inflammed repeatedly, then chronic gastritis develops. Such type of inflammation may result from bacteria, alcohol consumption, certain medications, stress and many more. Your stomach lining may change and lose its protective function due to inflammation.
Reactive gastropathy occurs when stomach lining comes into with irritating substances like non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS), bile reflux, alcohol consumption etc.
Presence of fat in stool known as steatorrhea that may be a sign of malabsorption. That means, your body is not absorbing nutrients properly or isn't making the enzymes or bile needed to digest food. In the absent of gall bladder, such type of clinical features may occur.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for joining again. The treatment of steatorrhea depends on the cause and severity of symptoms. If steatorrhea has already diagnosed, then you should undergo some further tests to determine the underlying causes for losing body fat or steatorrhea.
Remedies for treating and preventing steatorrhea including: staying hydrated, reducing dietary fat and fibre intake, avoiding smoking and drinking alcohol, reducing potassium oxalate intake, increasing dietary intake of fat soluble vitamins like A, D, E and K enriched foods or supplements, increasing dietary intake of vitamin B12, folic acid, iron, magnesium and calcium, anti diarrhoeal medications like loperamide, antacids and protein pump inhibitors may be needed.
You can consult a gastroenterologist and he may help you to find out the underlying causes for your present sufferings and weight loss by providing investigations and then treat them accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for joining again. If you don't want to visit your doctor, then please follow the above mentioned instructions. I think that above mentioned instructions will help you to reduce your present sufferings.
You should undergo some investigations like IgA endomysial antibodies, fecal pancreatic lipase, colonoscopy, CT abdomen etc to find out the culprit for your steatorrhea as well as weight loss and then treat them accordingly.
Due to pancreatic insufficiency, you should take pancreatic enzymes. Again, you should take cholestyramine in case of bile acid malabsorption. But, first of all, the exact cause for your present sufferings should be detected. For this reason, you should visit a doctor to advise the investigation in written form to be done.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for joining again. Malabsorption of fat typically results in steatorrhea with weight loss may be caused by crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, coeliac disease, pancreatic disorders, cystic fibrosis, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth etc.
Without knowing the appropriate reason for your present sufferings, any medication will help a little. Some additional investigations like jejunal biopsy, colonoscopy or sigmoidoscopy, CT chest, serum lipase etc should be done to exclude the causes of fat malabsorption with weight loss and then treat them accordingly.
Without finding out the exact causes for your present sufferings, no treatment will be helpful for your present discomfort.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
