Brief Answer:
The tendon needs a surgical repair.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
I have seen the attached reports. You have a complete tear of the posterior tibial tendon and the torn ends of the tendon are far apart. There is evidence of inflammation also. This can only be corrected surgically. The tendon needs to be repaired and the joint is fixed to allow the tendon to remain intact after the repair. The movement of the ankle joint becomes restricted after the surgery. This is the best option you have. You are getting the right treatment. There is nothing to worry.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.
