Hi Doc, I Have Hemophilia , Suddenly Starts Nose Bleeding

Detailed answer below.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for the query.I understand your concern.
Hemophillia is deficiency of clotting factor in blood..
causing failure to control bleeding normally &leads to prolonged bleeding .
* You have bleeding nose as a symptom that bothers you much.
Nasal bleeding in Hemophillia can not be treated by routine treatments like nasal packs/cauterization of bleeder..
-Management of uncontrollable nasal bleed in Hemophillia..needs intravenous injection of the missing clotting factor. So you need to rush to your treating physician/ER & get the specific factor you need injected..to control the bleeding.
*Your high blood pressure needs to be kept in normal level by taking antihypertensive medicine advised by your doctor...regularly. Also to get periodic check up is essential..Raised blood pressure can trigger nasal bleeds.
*Diabetes also has to be under control. Please take medicines regularly/Observe the diet restrictions carefully
- Regular exercises(walking, static cycling) help in blood sugar&blood pressure control
- Uncontrolled Diabetis predisposes to infections ..and any infection in sinuses/nasal cavity can cause nasal scab..picking of such scab can trigger nasal bleeding.
-Any allergic colds/sinuses ,if present ,also need to be taken care of.
*Avoiding blood thinner like Aspirine or medicines like Acetoamenophen or Ibugesic can trigger bleeding..these need to be avoided.
*Nasal bleeds are common after swimming ..so it should be avoided.
**Thus few life style changes to help prevention of nasal bleeds /control of blood pressure & diabetes /and use of clotting factor as a specific drug to control bleeding,as per need is the way you can prevent&control bleeding from nose in Hemophillia.
I hope that helps you. Any follow up query is welcome.
Thanks
