Question: hi,
From last 6 months , I feel white itchy patches on my FACE skin in my beard areas both side near to ear .
These patches are mildly itchy . Becomes itchy when i grow beard or when i sweat .
they becomes red sometimes .
The areas having these patches have no or very less hair . It appears dry white itchy patches when i shave and becomes red when i rub it when itchy . I am attaching pics .
Patches are not very easily visible plus they are only itchy sometimes and not everytime.
Please help sir .

Thanks for the query and photographs.
You seem to have developed fungal infection.
You can apply ointment Terbinafine twice daily for a month. You can take tablet Terbinafine 250 mg daily for a month under doctor's guidance as it is anti-fungal.
If there is itching take tablet cetrizine daily in night.

My query is whether i have to take tablets and ointment both or i can have just ointment alone for one month?.
Secondly doctor guidance means i have to consult some doctor in my nearby area or just take medicine based on your sole advice ?
