Hi, I Am An 18 Year Old Man From Canada,

Question: hi, I am an 18 year old man from canada, so for the past 5 years I've developed random pains that always come back every day but always somewhere new, it's my shoulders, elbows, hands, feet, knees, hips and back, but where the pain is worse is in my lower back, knees, hands and shoulders. I feel very weak, from it I have trouble walking running doing simple tasks and sleeping I usually got to sleep around 2 am because of it and I'd much rather sleep around 11:30. I have a decent diet, I try to get my exercise in but these issues make it almost impossible I've been to my local hospital many times and all I've ever heard was to take Tylenol or advil or any other pain med, I've seen physiotherapists about it they said do stretches and I've been stretching for the past 3 months still no fix I've been to an amazing chiropractor and he helped with my back a little but not enough it's been about 2 months. if it helps I'll list my injuries that I've suffered in the past, so I've town soft and deep tissue in my hip right and left side playing football(age13), I have gotten into an ATV accident where I lost my helmet and hit my head pretty hard (age8), it's undiagnosed but I've hurt my right shoulder in gym class I think either a slight dislocation or I hurt the muscles and ligaments from an hyperextension (age17). I would be so glad if you could help me figure this out and guide me on a path to better health. ps. my chiropractors information noted that my body is in a challenged state.
Brief Answer:
It could be rheumatological
Detailed Answer:
Hi Dylen,
I am sorry to hear about your troubles. To me it could sound like diffuse rheumatological disease, e.g. polymyalgia rheumatica or polymyositis. I suggest you get referred to a rheumatologist for further follow-up.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have further questions.
