Question: hi I am mother to a 6year old who has been diagnosed with severe house mite allergy and we are doing whatever possible to ensure she has less exposure. she had chest congestion and runny nose. for three days i gave ambrolite D 6ml thrice a day. neither nose stopped running nor chest got cleared. now I began nebulising, as she was advised by doc to nebulise Budesal and Levoline alternatively in a gap of 4 hours. she doesn't want nebulising and also she goes to school so frequent nebulsiing is a challenge. can I nebulise her once before going to school at 6am and then at 5pm. she is only back at 4pm. what else do I do to rest her runny nose and clear her chest congestion. today she also got runny stools and fever. both subsided after giving cumin water etc and flexon 10ml. pls advise

Hii. Please consult an ENT surgeon. Get her tonsils and adenoids examined. If needed she may need x ray sinus and adenoids. If prescribed by a doctor you may need to start nasal spray, betadine gargle, anti allergic syrup. Start steam inhalation. See whether the infection and allergy is coming from sinus, adenoids, or tonsils or not.
