Hi Doctor, My Brother Is 50 Yrs Old And From
Question: hi doctor, my brother is 50 yrs old and from 2-3 weeks he is facing problem in urine passing. Burning pain while passing urine frequent desire to pass urine, passing urine automatically drop by drop after urinating, constant urging I have attached the abdomen, urine test and Pricription of doctors and medicine that he has taken so far. after using these medicines got little bit relief but problem still exists. kindly review and suggest the medicine with dose ( number of days) and also suggest the food that need to avoid or any other precautions to cure the problem quickly.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
From the symptoms there seem to e urinary tract infection but urine examination doesnot show any bacteria, only a few pus cells. Also there is somewhat high post-residual urine volume which can be a nidus for infection. Prostate is normal.
Does your brother have diabetes, or alcohol drinking problem?
Also let me know since when is he taking antibiotics? Did he take antibiotic before the urine test done on 16 october? Did the problem not resolve with antibiotics? Kindly specify which medicines he has taken and how long?
He can drink lots of cleaner water to pass out the infection.
