Hi.
Welcome to "Ask a doctor" service.
I am Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX

There might be multiple reasons for your symptoms.

It can be a spondylosis due to wear and tear of bones and cartilage in the neck caused
due to any abnormal movements. This leads to pain in back and neck along with a burning sensation.

At times there can be a herniated disk which causes compression and pinching of nerves coming out of spinal cord. This will cause radiculopathy, which can happen due to abnormal posturing, walking, twisting and by lifting heavy weights. .

Neuropathy and neuralgia are the conditions caused by damage or irritation to a nerve supplying that area which causes burning pain and spasm.

I would suggest you to see a neurologist for complete evaluation and work up.He would go for your blood tests like thyroid levels, vitamin B12 levels, serum calcium and would procure scans of your brain and spine. Time being you can take NSAIDs like Advil, apply an analgesic gel and go for hot fomentation

Hope that I have answered your query.
If you have any doubts about it,please let me know.
Stay healthy and stay blessed.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
BACKACHE WITH GERD

Detailed Answer:
Hi....
From the description of symptoms,it seems very unlikely.
A pain of cardiac origin typically presents with left sided chest pain, pain-upper abdomen,pain- left arm, jaw pain, giddiness, perspiration, cold hands and feet, heaviness of chest, nausea and vomiting and palpitation.

But,if your symptoms do not improve,it is better to take a cardiologist opinion ,who would procure your ECG and cardiac enzymes to exclude a cardiac cause.

Happy Living.
Best regards.
