Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on Ask a Doctor service!

I understand your concern and would explain that your symptoms could be related to musculoskeletal pain.

I would like to know if this sensation is triggered by deep breathing or pressure on the chest. This would be another argument in favour of musculoskeletal pain.

In such case, I would just recommend taking a painkiller like Ibuprofen.

Otherwise, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and some tests ( a resting ECG and cardiac enzymes, a chest x-ray study, complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation).

I would also like to know your age and your past medical history.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

I remain at your disposal for any further questions whenever you need!

Kind regards,
Dr.Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist

My opinion as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!

Thank you for the additional information!

Based on your description of the pain, I would exclude any possible cardiac issues!

In my opinion, your symptoms could be related to anxiety or fibromyalgia.

I would also recommend performing a sinus X-Ray study to exclude a sinus infection and consulting with an ophthalmologist because the headaches in this region could be related to the sinuses or eye disorder too.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Wishing all the best,

Dr.Iliri
