Brief Answer:
Dear ,
Detailed Answer:
There is nothing stupid in your question. On the other hand, I recommend to have some Lab test to ensure that your hormone levels are normal.
First and most important is Growth Hormone.
second, an X ray on the arms and legs to see if the bone growth is normal
I hope you find my answer helpful

should i check DHEA hormones too or no need?
Brief Answer:
My Dear,
Detailed Answer:
If the results came back that you have deficient in growth hormone, then you can take growth hormone supplementation.
The dose and duration will depend on its level.
And yes you can check DHEA hormones too.
