Brief Answer:
Retrolental fibroplegia and optic nerve damage
Detailed Answer:
Hi Craiger...
Welcome to Ask a doctor.
I am really sorry to say that there is no treatment is of proven value for the proliferative stages of retrolental fibroplegia(RLF) induced by 100 percent oxygen.
Damage to the optic nerve is irreversible because the optic nerve fibers don't have capacity to regenerate or heal itself.
The emerging role of human adult stem cell therapy for optic neuropathy treatments is foreseeable in the near future but there has not been any breakthrough till now.
Although photo coagulation and cryotherapy are being tried but are of limited value.
Surgical treatment may be of value in controlling associated problems, particularly retinal detachments.
Wishing you luck.
Regards

Detailed Answer:
Dear Craiger,I am FCCS-neurology and have been in conversation with many neurologists.
The prognosis remains equally bad,be it optic nerve fibers and be it retina.
There is as yet no outright cure for both of them.
Various forms of outer retinal degeneration remains a major problem in clinical ophthalmology.
Vision loss due to retinal damage can be caused both by hypoxia and hyperoxia.Once the degeneration occurs, the neural cell stress and damage can not be reversed.
Many therapeutic interventions based on laser, cryotherapy, scleral buckling and vitrectomy are used but are of limited use.
It is sometimes thought that hyperbaric oxygen therapy can be helpful to restore the oxygen environment to the critical cell layers of degenerated retina but it has a limited potential too for treating the retinal burn.
Stem cell therapy is very promising and let's wait for it to evolve as a clinically viable measure.
Stay healthy and stay blessed.

Brief Answer:
Clicking in left eye.
Detailed Answer:
Hi....
Don't worry about it.There’s nothing wrong with your left eyes.
This clicking is normal.
Sometimes small air pockets fill the eyelid which cause this.
At times it is caused by rubbing of eye tissues against each other.
There are lacrimal glands in our eyes which produce tears and keep our eyes moist. At times, air gets trapped in the ducts of these glands and when it escapes, this click is produced.
As long as your vision isn’t affected, the eye is not red, there are no signs of infection and inflammation and eye don’t hurt, you’re fine.
Please don't over think and don't worry.
Regards.
