Brief Answer:
You are likely to be having a respiratory tract infection which needs medic

Detailed Answer:
Hi....
Welcome to "Ask a Doctor"service.
I am Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX

I have gone through your query and here is my opinion.

You are likely to be having a lower respiratory tract infection.

An antibiotic course such as Amoxicillin 500 mg thrice a day and antihistamines like Levocetrizine 5mg at night time are prescribed to such patients.
Steam inhalation, throat lozenges and over the counter cough syrups help to control the cough.

As your symptoms are persisting since last one month and have worsened (in the form of breathlessness),I think that you should visit your clinician for complete evaluation and clinical examination.
He would go for your blood work including complete blood counts and X Ray of chest and would treat you accordingly.

Hope that I have answered your query.

Stay healthy and stay blessed.
Regards.

Your respiratory tract infection may need medical attention

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.

Yes...that sounds perfect.
During these times of spread of Corona pandemic,it is better to avoid visiting a hospital except during an emergency.

Do start the antibiotic course and keep a watch on the progress of your symptoms..
Maintain good hand hygiene and use tissues while sneezing and coughing.

Happy living.
