Brief Answer:
most likely a viral illness...
Detailed Answer:
I assume there is no burning sensation while passing urine.
In this context the symptoms related to a viral infection. It is a self limiting infection and will settle down in a few days (3-5 days). She can continue taking paracetamol (dolo 650mg) 3-4 times a day instead of twice a day. In addition I will encourage to drink plenty of fluids. Fruits and vegetables will benefit her.
There is no need to add any more medications as viral infection resolves spontaneously. However if she has persistent vomiting / diarrhea or has severe joint pains or if the fever persists beyond 5 days, she should get a few blood test done.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need any other information.

Hi, My wife has still not recovered from illnesses. The doctor had suggested for cbc test. i will attach the report for your reference. she feels tiredness all the time. after eating or drinking something, she feels like to vomit. fever has reduced, only in evening she will have bit fever Please suggest any antibiotics.
please suggest
Brief Answer:
Blood report is normal...
Detailed Answer:
Apologies for the late reply....
I went through the report attached. CBC report doesn't reveal any alarming abnormality. The eosinophil differential count is above average; but the rest are within limits. This type of picture is not typical of a bacterial infection. However if she persists to have high grade fever in the evening, she will need further tests such as a urine routine / microscopy; Widal; Typhidot and dengue serology (if deemed appropriate). A blood culture may also be necessary based on physician's discretion.
That being said, some times residual weakness, tiredness and nausea remains for a few days after a viral infection. It would gradually get better in the next few days. I hope she is alright now. If she isn't yet, let me know.
Regards

Brief Answer:
if you feel better without antibiotics, then you need not take it....
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Antibiotic is not absolutely necessary for a viral infection. But if there are features of bacterial superinfection then it should be taken. From what I understand your wife is on recovery now. She should complete the antibiotic course as recommended by the doctor.
In your case though, if you are feeling ok (no nausea or vomiting) without antibiotic you may stop it. However it is advisable to let your treating doctor know about it. He/she will suggest an alternative if it is essential.
Hope this helped. Let me know if you need clarifications.
