Brief Answer:
Has a brain scan been done?
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and would try my best to help you.
I have noted your wife's clinical details and also seen the list of medications.
We need to find the root cause of headaches. Has a brain scan been done? if not, it may be advisable to get it done to exclude secondary causes of headache. This is especially important as she is not getting better despite taking multiple medicines. The best scan is MRI + MR VENOGRAM BRAIN.
I sincerely hope my reply has helped you.
I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.
Best wishes,
Dr Sudhir Kumar MD (Internal Medicine), DM (Neurology) XXXXXXX Consultant Neurologist

Brief Answer:
MRI report findings noted.
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.
MRI brain has raised a possibility of idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH). In this condition, the pressure in the brain is raised. However, it needs confirmation. The simplest way to confirm this is by eye check up-FUNDUS EXAMINATION (to rule out papilloedema), which can be done by OPHTHALMOLOGIST. Please get back with the FUNDUS examination report.
Treatment is possible with medicines.
Best wishes,
Dr Sudhir Kumar MD DM
