Question: hi, we had condom protected sex (used mustard oil accidently as lubricant) on 23rd day (as much we remember) day of her cycle , with 28 days being usually cycle length. Menses didn't came on scheduled time or later. Instead initially white and then lot of Brown discharge on 30th day after her last period. Given the fact that penetration happened after condom wearing and condom wasn't broken. Cause of brown discharge ? or was it delayed period?

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. Let me assure you that your having sex was in the safe period of the cycle and therefore irrespective of the protection offered by the condom, there is practically no risk (assuming the cycles to be regular). The brown discharge indicates altered blood or delayed discharge. It is not a cause for concern.
