Hi Yesterday I Noticed That My Throat Was Sore. It
Question: hi yesterday i noticed that my throat was sore. it was sore to swallow everytime i yaened ot hurt too. i also noticed that my sliver was a brown colour too and i jad like a metal taste in my mouth. what could this be. thanks.

Sore throat with metallic taste indicates inflammation of the throat. There are two main possible causes to this. One is acid reflux from the stomach that may be irritating the throat or a throat infection (mostly viral infection).
To help with the symptoms I would recommend you to take omeprazole 40 mg a day and ibuprofen 400 mg every 6-8 hours after food. You should eat and drink frequent small amounts of food and fluids during the day, and avoid eating or drinking 3-4 hours before bed time.
Try to avoid very hot food and drinks.
If you are not improving in 2-3 days or you notice any worsening, if you develop new symptoms such as fever, etc, or there is clear blood with yoir saliva, you will need to have a visit with your doctor and have your lungs and throat examined.
