Brief Answer:
Doesn't look like cancer
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
The appearance of the sore is not looking like cancer. It may be a normal canker sore. It's only 10 days. You can wait for a week and apply some over the counter antiseptic gel.
If it doesn't resolve by that time then you can see an oral surgeon.
Hope this helps.
Regards

Brief Answer:
No it's not always
Detailed Answer:
What I meant is that in that case we have to evaluate it, first in clinic, and if suspicious then biopsy. But it usually not cancer most of the time. We simply can't afford to miss the diagnosis of an early stage cancer. That's why evaluation is indicated.

Brief Answer:
Then we need to evaluate the cause
Detailed Answer:
Any persistent sore has to be evaluated properly. Hence the follow up. Many causes are there, like benign sore too but in a persistent sore we need to find out the cause. Doesn't necessarily mean it will be malignant.

is it look like erythroleukoplakia maybe in the attached new pictures?
Brief Answer:
Not looking like erythroplakia
Detailed Answer:
Erythroplakia is flat, but this one is punched out. And I think it's looking deeper than before. I suggest you consult an oncosurgeon and do a biopsy if suggested by him. It's better to be safe.
