Hi,
Thanks for your query.
I have gone through the details and images.
It is very difficult to diagnose lichen planus just by looking at the images. Best way to diagnose is by biopsy, cultures and blood test. I suggest you visit a dermatologist for the same.
Meanwhile, you can use over the counter pain numbing creams such as dentogel or any cream with Choline Salicylate + Lidocaine / Lignocaine composition can be applied three times a day. You can take a multivitamin tablet which as B complex and zinc, once daily for a month.
The mainstay of treatment even if it lichen planus is symptomatic and avoiding the triggers as it is an autoimmune disorder. You can try the following to minimize the trigger:
- Good oral hygiene: Brush gently twice daily to prevent infections.
- Avoid spicy, salty and acidic food.
- Avoid alcohol and tobacco. Do not chew your lips or cheeks
- Avoid stress: Meditate and deep breathing exercise helps reduce stress.
Follow the above-mentioned treatment for a month. If it still persists then you will have to see a dermatologist for a detailed examination and treatment.
I hope this answered your query.
