I Developed Red Rash With Two Painful Pimples On Left

Treatment with local antibiotics can be tried- further details below
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to 'Ask a Doctor' service,
I carefully read your query and checked the uploaded picture.
The lesion seems mildly inflamed with no extensive infection. In this case, due to the infection being so limited in one area, local antibiotics may be tried first.
You can use an over the counter antibiotic cream such as Bactroban or whichever antibiotic cream you will be able to access in the pharmacy(they may contain mupirocin, polymixin, gentamycin, bacitracin, etc.). You will need to apply the cream 3-4 times a day on the red area.
For pain, you may use ibuprofen 400mg every 8 hours after food.
Try to keep the area clean and do not squeeze the pimples.
If you notice no improvement with the above measures in 3-4 days or if you notice any worsening you will need to see your doctor.
I hope this is helpful and answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
I wish you a quick improvement.
Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
