Question: i had short of breath for 3 months everyday. food sensitivity with allergic reaction symptoms, swollen nasal turbanates,facial swelling. E.R ct scan showed lungs calcified granuloma no explanation. steriods 3x not working at all, benadryl works sometimes and blood work from two er visits are normal in April and yesterday july 19th. What can i do? i have had frequent fungal infections in the past. can this be cause for concern.

In my opinion, you should get done PFT (Pulmonary Function Test), Serum IgE level and eosinophils count.
PFT will not only diagnose asthma but it will also tell you about severity of the asthma.
And treatment is based on severity only.
You might need inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).

hey when i was given ashma inhaler is never worked, steroids never worked. my face is swollen and i don't think that is asthma related. food sensitivity eoe biopsies last moth was normal. tryptase was 4 under 15. normal. all my test is normal. nothing is working, what should i do next. i cannot breath well and all doctor test is normal. lips and face swelling can barely eat. please help if any suggestions, immune related? i am healthy and this cane out of no where. never had any health problems.

pft was normal, lung ct scan was normal. i dont understand facial swelling and extreme fatigue. winded when barely moving. any ideas on what to do next?
