Brief Answer:
You can take hydrocodone for pain relief.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
It can be due to musculoskeletal pain like in strain injury.
As of now you can take acetaminophen/hydrocodone tablets for pain relief.
You can also apply warm compresses for symptomatic relief. You have to immobilise the arm for two days.
Generally the symptoms will settle in couple of days. If pain persists better to consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan.
Wishing all the best.
Thanks
