Question: i have five painful bumps (almost look like blisters but they’re not)in between anus and vagina. they are very painful. there is no pus. i’ve never experienced anything like this before and i don’t know what it could be. i do have unprotected sex but my partner has no stds, and i don’t either.

This could be genital herpes. Another possibility is that of bacterial folliculiris. I suggest you to take a test for herpes antibodies now and repeat after 4 weeks. You may also take a PCR for hsv 2 from one of the fresh lesions for quick confirmation. Antibodies against herpes simplex virus may take time to appear if this is a recent infection hence I have told you to repeat the test for herpes antibidies after 4 weeks.
You may use a topical antibiotic e.g mupirocin ointment or neosporin ointment twice daily for these lesions. Can take an oral anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen twine a day for pain.
