Brief Answer:
may not need to be seen

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You may not need to be seen if you do not have a fever. If a fever is present and it is sustained or does not decrease after a few days, then you may need to be seen because this may mean that there is a bacterial infection of the throat. Severe pain in the throat may also signal a bacterial infection.

That would require a course of antibiotics.

In the absence of a fever, the symptoms, including the white lesions, may be due to a viral infection, which can usually be treated at home.

Cough, sorethroat, heaviness in your chest and achy sensation- these occur in viral infections affecting the respiratory tract
Sorethroat ,in particular, can cause temporary structural changes in the throat.

Treatment of an acute viral infection, including the white deposits include: (1)gargling eg with salt water and using agents such as chloroseptic spray, covonia etc
(2)pain meds such as paracetamol or ibuprofen
(3)cough suppressant such as robitussin
(4)fluids and rest

In some persons the tonsil deposits do not resolve completely- if this is the case for you and there are associated with bothersome symptoms, then you should be seen
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
