Brief Answer:
You could still have gallstones

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Although you have had your gall bladder removed, you could still have gallstones in your choledochal duct. To find out, you should have liver function tests and an ultrasound, possibly MRI. If you do not have gallstones the differential diagnoses range from constipation to stomach or duodenal ulcer disease. Is your stool normal in color and consistency? Any weight loss, nausea, extreme fatigue?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Brief Answer:
Sounds like gallstones

Detailed Answer:
Hi again XXXXXXX

It sounds like gallstones. I recommend liver function tests and an ultrasound. If these come back negative, I suggest gastroscopy and after that colonoscopy with biopsies.

How does that sound to you?

Brief Answer:
Good!

Detailed Answer:
Good! For pain relief I suggest you try diclofenac as this typically has a good effect on gallstone pain.
