Question: i have stye in my left eye that will not go away. 1 month. I recently started putting an antibiotic cream and it seems to have made it more red and not sure if to continue

Its not a stye then it sounds like a chalazion

Hey thanks for the question . A stye doesnt stay for a month dear it sounds like a chalzion to me . In a chalazion the gland opening closes and so it doesnt go away with medicine and usually requires an incision and curettage . I would advise you to confirm and then get it done by a qualified ophthalmologist . Hope it helps . Regards .

Hey thanks for the image . This definitely looks like an inflamed stye with a lot of pus and it needs incision if it has been like this for a month . You will need a course of oral antibiotics along with hot fomentation . Hope this helps . Regards
