Brief Answer:
different possible causes

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The presence of gas may be related to food intake, constipation, reflux- these are the most common reasons

Foods that increase gas production are: broccoli, cabbage, beans, cauliflower, prunes, brussel sprouts, asparagus, soft drinks (carbonated drinks cause this problem), onions, some pears, peaches, oats and XXXXXXX

You do not need to cut them down completely if you use these, but significantly reducing them can be helpful.

Using gum, because of the chewing motion- can also cause gas to occur
Eat slowly and use enough water daily ,both of these can also be helpful as well

Consider whether you may be lactose intolerant if you use products (milk or cheese) that contains lactose, this is another common cause.

If you have a history of reflux, this can cause a problem as well. Reflux presents with bloating, feeling as though food coming back up, acid taste in the mouth, chronic cough, burning pain in the chest.
Not all of these may be present, sometimes a person may only have one of these

Reducing foods that affect reflux (acidic , fatty or spicy foods) and the use of reflux meds- would help (eg nexium, prilosec, prevacid)

If there is any history of constipation (straining or bowel movements more than 3 days apart), then increasing fiber intake (with vegetables and fruit that do not cause gas) and increasing water intake- would help

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
