I Take Microgynon 30 As Contraception Daily. I Had Unprotected

Feedback needed.
Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
I welcome you to Ask A Doctor Service.
I hav understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.
First of all do not panic.
Your information about taking 4 pills at a time in two doses 12 hours apart, is scientifically correct.
But such dose is to be taken if you are not taking any contraceptive precautions as such.
I would like to know about few things in detail.
1. Are you currently taking oral contraceptive pills regularly?
2.What was your first day of the menstrual cycle?
3. Have you missed any pill in between?
4. What do you consider to be unprotected sexual activity?
Please feel free to communicate with me again.
Your feedback will be of help to suggest you the best possible treatment options.
I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks.

I am currently taking oral contraception regularly. I have two pills left of this cycle and my period usually comes on the 4/5th day of the 7 day break. I have not missed any pills in between. By unprotected sex I mean that there was no condom used throughout the whole intercourse process.
I would like to know what I am meant to do next? Do I take the other 4? And can I continue my normal regular contraception?
Next 4 pills not needed. Follow regular pill regime.

Hi there.
Thanks for appreciating my answer and reverting back to me
In my opinion, if you are already taking oral contraceptive pills regularly as suggested, then there is no need to use other contraceptive methods like using barrier contraceptive like Condom.
As you are taking oral contraceptive pills regularly, you are already protected from getting pregnant.
You need not consume multiple pills at a time as emergency contraceptive pills.
Please follow your daily pill regime as before.
You need not take next 4 pills at a go.
Finish with the remaining pills as usual.
A word of caution, please have a close watch on your next menstrual bleeding.
It may be a bit erratic.
Please follow your next pill pack after a gap of 7 days.
Please feel free to communicate with me again in future.
I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks.
