Question: i was in a car accident on November 10th. i was rear ended at full speed while i was turning into a church parking lot. i hit my head on something really hard, maybe the dashboard? i blacked out for a few seconds and had to be taken to the er by ambulance. the right side of my head was swollen but no bleeding. they took a ct scan and say i did not get a concussion. today, my head is still bothering me. when i touch the right side of my head just above my temple, my left eye sees black spots and my vision blurs. my ear feels full, and i am having some dizzy spells. what is going on, what should i do now? what could this mean?

Brief Answer:
need repeat assessment as soon as possible

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Though you had a CT done on your initial assessment, a repeat is indicated/needed ALONG with a repeat dilated fundoscopic eye examination (dilating the eye and taking a look at the back of the eye)

Delayed intracranial bleeding (bleeding in the brain) is a rare condition and it is very very possible that it is not present but you should be aware of it.
It basically refers to bleeding in the brain that occurs after an initial normal CT. In some persons, this bleeding can occur up to 2 months after the initial trauma.

Another possibility and the reason for the repeat eye examination is damage to the back of the eye eg the retina. Retinal detachment in is a condition where the retina, which is at the back of the eye moves from its normal position.
It requires surgical correction.

It is best to be reassessed. Repeat assessment (the eye exam and CT) would be able to determine if there are any issues causing your symptoms
Effective treatment can then be started.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
