Question: i wrote to you on Tuesday of this week. I was dizzy and mauseated. Yesterday I started having pain in my back, stomach and chest. I double over when I get the pain. Flatulance is present. Headache sore throat. My I Watch is telling me that my resting heart rate is now 120. Its usually 80.
what should I do? I am in Puerto Rico and scheduled to fly home to US tomorrow

Hi,

I wonder if you are also running a fever. Have you tested body temperature?

You have multiple symptoms - pain, dizziness, nausea, headache, sorethroat. All of these are present during an infection. Heart rate is also found risen during an infection. It would be good idea to check pulse manually (not through a smart watch).

If you are carrying acetaminophen (tylenol) tablets, continue to take them. I would also suggest to start antacid along with it. If pulse rate persists to be high, I would recommend visiting a doctor there before the scheduled flight.
